Nikki + Sal

My first destination wedding was one that I will always always remember. It brought me, (and my husband who I dragged along with me/helped carry my equipment through the airport - shoutout <3) all the way Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!

Nikki is my now, 7(?!) year-ish hair stylist/friend and when she asked me if I would consider going to Cabo for her and Sal’s wedding I had a few ‘pinch me’ moments because um… HELLO how cool.

I got there for their welcome Cocktail hour on a Monday, snagged some photos of their reception on Tuesday and then Wednesday was the big day! (Wedding Day!). It was honestly the best day ever, from the morning getting ready with Nikki and her girls in their suite all the way to the reception that was full of dancing, laughs and a starlit sky. I kept looking around and thinking to myself, “am I really photographing a wedding in Mexico right now?!”

The love that Nikki + Sal have for each other is so transparent and was so beautiful to witness throughout the whole day. I’ll always look back at this day with the biggest smile on my face and can’t wait for my next destination wedding.
